Children’s TV favourites announced for Gloworm Festival 2017

We are delighted to announce a host of brilliant children’s TV favourites will be appearing at the Gloworm Festival in 2017 which takes place on August 19th and 20th.

Andy Day, who hosts several of his own shows on CBeebies, will be amongst the fun at Gloworm next year. Andy will be performing on the main stage on the Sunday and festival goers will have the chance give him a sneaky high five during a ‘meet & greet’ session after his stage performance.

We can’t forget everybody’s favourite Postman, can we? The one and only Postman Pat® and Jess the Cat will be another fantastic character at this year’s Gloworm Festival. At intervals throughout Saturday 19th, you and your little ones will be able to go to meet and great sessions with the man himself!

The festival, which is now in its second successive year following a hugely successful debut, will once again take place at Clumber Park. The organisers have assured that the next event will be even bigger and even better than its inaugural year with a larger site hosting more zones and creative areas to enjoy.

The launch festival featured the likes of CBBC’s Dick and Dom, Peppa Pig, Mr Bloom and Thomas the Tank Engine as well as the Headline Sunday act ‘Toploader’ who closed the festival.

Families wanting to camp at the festival will be delighted to know that the amount of spaces available has been increased with a larger camping site being acquired after the huge demand following last year’s successful event.

All tickets will be on sale on Thursday 1st December, meaning that you can get someone the perfect Christmas Present for their family this year!

There will be plenty more to be announced in the coming months including, music artists, more entertainers, extra activities and everything else!
