East Midlands Airport Sign up to be Part of the Gloworm Festivities.

East Midlands Airport is the latest company to come on board and sign up to a sponsorship for this year’s brand new family festival, Gloworm, which will take place on 20th and 21st August at the stunning Clumber Park.

The Gloworm Festival is delighted to have East Midlands Airport, which is sponsoring the Big Top Stage and the Gloworm Festival Guide, joining the likes of White Post Farm as a sponsor of the event and IKEA, which is headline sponsor.

This delightful new family friendly festival will allow parents, children, family and friends to enjoy some special time together whilst enjoying music, arts and meet and greets with some of the best loved children’s characters around.

Heidi Barlow, head of marketing for East Midlands Airport said, “We’re really excited to be one of the key sponsors of the Gloworm Festival as it supports our plans for the forthcoming year, which is to engage with more families in both our immediate and surrounding catchment area. The festival sounds like it’s going to be a great weekend of fun and we can’t wait!”

What makes this festival that little bit more wonderful is that once you have a ticket there are no hidden costs, the rides are free, the workshops are free, and the activities are all free once you are in. So if your children want to go on the bouncy slide three hundred and eleven times they can, and it won’t cost you a penny extra.

With excellent facilities for chilling out to bottom changing, having a picnic or trying some of the onsite food stalls, the Gloworm team have left no stone unturned. It goes without saying that the festival is breast feeding friendly, but they are also providing a cosy breast feeding area for mums who prefer to breast feed in comfort. East Midlands Airport currently welcomes 4.5 million passengers per year and is supports around 6,000 jobs in the region. The airport serves over 80 leisure and business destinations throughout the world, including Cancun, New York, Orlando and now, Dusseldorf with airlines Ryanair, Thomson, Jet2, Eurowings, Thomas Cook, bmi Regional, Flybe and more.
