At the Gloworm Festival we pride ourselves on making sure you get the most value for your buck. At this wonderful family friendly music festival, you don’t just get to listen to an array of fantastic musical acts, you get so much more on top!
From workshops and activities to petting zoos and fairground rides, we have covered all the bases to make sure that you and your family have a great day or weekend at our festival. Read below to find out what your tickets to Gloworm get you and this isn’t even everything!
From ‘Toploader’ and ‘Dick and Dom’ to ‘The Half Eight’ to ‘Seas of Mirth, there will be plenty of music to keep everyone of all ages entertained.
The live music will be kicking off from 11am every day starting with Lois on Saturday 20th and Edi Johnston on the Sunday. There will be a new artist on stage every hour afterwards finishing with the wonderful headline acts Dick and Dom on Saturday and Toploader on Sunday, both starting their sets at 6pm.
Mr. Bloom, Peppa Pig, Johnny and the Raindrops and so much more!
The Big Top is going to be one of the most popular places at the whole festival, with story time from Peppa Pig (Saturday) and a performance by Mr. Bloom (Sunday) there is certainly going to be plenty to keep the littles ones entertained. Balloon Boogie, Edward and Vera Family Theatre and Notts Swing Dance Society are just a few other things going off in the Big Top.
A place dedicated for the really little Glowormers who are attending the Gloworm Festival.
The Tiny Tots area is going to be full of soft play for all your tiny tots to enjoy. There will also be a chance to meet a mermaid as well as taster sessions from some of the East Midlands favourite pre-school groups.
There are a vast array of fantastic workshops taking place at The Gloworm Festival.
You’ll Glowormers will be able to take part in burger making with Nottingham’s famous butcher, Johnny Pusztai, bread making with Go Bake as well as training their circus skills, making music out of rubbish with Junk 4 Funk and dancing with the Just Dance Workshop.
The Great Outdoors is going to be a fantastic area to be slightly more relaxed.
White Post Farm, who are sponsoring the area are bringing a petting zoo with them where big Glowormers and little Glowormers will be able to take part in some animal holding with ducklings, chicks, guinea pigs and mice as well as seeing new born lambs, den building, pony play, goat milking and so much more.
Kings Camp will also be in the Great Outdoors area and they will be making sure all the little ones are staying active and having loads of fun. With a wide range of games to take part in, every little Glowormer will find something they enjoy.
The vintage fairground is a great place to get into the festival spirit by going on some great rides.
All of the rides are free to use at Gloworm so they can be used as many times as the little ones want! There are also side stalls with prizes, these will come at a slight cost due to the prizes on offer.
