Award Winning family attraction announced as sponsor of Gloworm Festival 2018

White Post farm are celebrating their 30th Birthday this year and have been announced as main sponsor of the family festival at Thoresby park in Nottinghamshire.

After an amazing year in 2017 where the farm attraction won two awards - Best Family attraction and Visitor Attraction at The Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards, they are celebrating 30 years in business and what better way to celebrate by bringing the party to Gloworm Festival.

White Post farm will be sponsoring ‘The Great Outdoors’ an area which they have made their own since the festival began back in 2016.  The attraction has brought along a mini version of the farm where children and families can interact with a host of animals including, Goats and Sheep as well as new born chicks who have hatched that day, along with some very friendly mice, not forgetting the Ducks, Donkeys and Rabbits to name just a few. This year they are adding the following activities -Goat Milking Demos, Pony Grooming, Hoof trimming (goats), Bottle feeding (kids and lambs) and small animal health checks and health care tips.

Special guest at The Great Outdoors 

On the Sunday of the festival there are workshops being held on the White Post farm area with very special guest ‘JB Gill’ who is former Boyband star of the group JLS. JB will be down on the farm running workshops throughout the day along with Meet and Greets, plus story telling too.

The Gloworm festival 2018 is the one true family festival, the festival encourages families to play and have fun in a safe environment.

This year’s festival has a huge line-up of fun including stage shows from Andy Day and the Oddsocks, Dr Ranj and his animal hospital, plus kid’s favourites, Peppa Pig, Milk Shake live and PJ Masks.
