The Nottingham college is supporting two popular events this year after rebranding was confirmed after much anticipation.

Gloworm Festival is a family festival that attracts thousands of families each year from 0-13 years of age, The Gloworm festival is the one true family festival, the festival encourages families to play and have fun in a safe environment.

Gloworm is the 5-time UK Festival award nominated, family friendly festival that brings music, art and entertainment to the heart of Sherwood Forest.

The Big Bake Newstead Abbey is a popular food and drink festival that showcases some of the best local food and drink offerings in the county, each year the festival host big names in the baking industry with the likes of Candice Brown Bake off Winner 2016 and Sophie Faldo the 2017 winner.  

Chris Stephenson, Marketing and Communications Manager at Nottingham College Said: “It’s great to team up with Elements Marketing and be a part of these fantastic events. The sponsorship will give great exposure to the College brand and the events will give us the chance to showcase our exciting range of courses in September.  We are looking forward to being involved.”   

Andy Whyles, Managing Director at Elements Marketing Said: “We are really looking forward to working with Nottingham College and we hope we can create a platform for them to reach thousands of families and potential students from the region. We have our Gloworm Festival on the 18th and 19th of August and The Big Bake is the following weekend of 25-27th so it’s going to be a busy time for all involved.” 

On 8 June 2017, New College Nottingham and Central College Nottingham joined forces to become Nottingham College. The newly merged College has taken the very best bits of NCN and Central and put them together to create a brand new college for the city.
Nottingham College is not simply be a place where you come to study, gain a qualification and then leave. It is a centre of excellence for teaching and learning but more than is a place where careers are made, a place where you are given every opportunity to learn and develop a full range of skills for the workplace and a place where you are introduced to your future employers.
