Tumble Tots prides itself on being the UK’s first structured physical play program for children from 6 months to 7 year olds. Tumble Tots allows children the opportunity to participate in an active physical play program using specially designed colourful equipment.

Tumble Tots strives to provide children with essential skills for life whilst contributing to their recommended 3 hours of physical activity that is needed every day! Each 45 minute Tumble Tots sessions has been carefully designed and structured to enhance a child’s physical development skills alongside their social and cognitive development.

During the most formative years taking part in a physical play program is critical in helping a child to develop a positive attitude towards physical activity. It is also widely believed that taking part in an activity, such as Tumble Tots, a child’s brain development can be improved by enhancing the ongoing development of both fine and gross motor skills.

There are five different Tumble Tots classes, which are all structured to reflect the emotional behaviour, physical change and ability according to the age of the child.Above all else we aim to give children the playful start for future success and to more importantly build skills for life!!

Soul Sensory

The idea and development came about from one Mum's experience of taking her son who has autism to festivals but feeling there was a need for a safe environment for her son to enjoy calming activities and recharge if he was experiencing sensory overload!

Our aim is to provide a ‘safe space ‘sensory tent with a range of activities including a tactile wall, brick building, sand area, bubble making and traditional games to stimulate and occupy inquisitive minds but also to encourage relaxation and calm. The tent also offers a unique dark den chill out area with sensory lighting, soothing cushions and focused hook and loop activities.

We are also passionate about educating, information sharing and encouraging dialogue about difference so we hope you pop by and see us!

Little Learners

We are so excited to be bringing our Mark Making sessions to Gloworm Festival this year!

Our mission is simple: help every child make their mark.

Little Learners is a multi award-winning messy play & mark making class created by a qualified teacher. Our educational sessions are full of messy play, paint, play dough, fine & gross motor activities, sand, sensory play, scribbling, singing and dance - all in a safe and fun environment! At Gloworm Festival, our experienced Little Learners team will be on hand to help your child make marks and develop their early writing skills through play. We will take your child on a journey to meet our four Mark Maker characters - Lionel the soldier, Archie the rainbow, Swirlo the cauldron and Ziggy the monster! Ziggy will even be popping down to Gloworm to see you all...

What's the aim of Little Learners?
Little Learners is designed for babies, toddlers and preschoolers to learn to write through play. (Ages 5 months to 5 years) Its aim is to develop children's pre-writing motor skills, as well as their physical development (taking full account of EYFS guidance). A simple early writing programme is followed which involves learning four types of 'mark' that appear in letters, numbers, shape & pattern - these are taught through four fun characters! Physical development and mark making are vital skills to obtain in order for children to begin to grip objects, hold a pencil and eventually write. Little Learners classes help to prepare little ones for nursery and school by strengthening gross and fine motor skills, core strength and coordination.
