If you went to the Gloworm Festival last year chances are you had to double take at a brand new car that had been totally covered in drawings and graffiti by children. Nope, there wasn’t a vandal on the loose, the car was part of the Sandicliffe Zone, and boy oh boy was it popular.
Returning to the Festival again this year, Sandicliffe are bringing their ever so popular ‘Paint a Car’ back. This ‘don’t try this at home’ activity is always a clear winner with festival goers, and we’re sure we even spotted a few parents joining in to!
Richard Walpole, Festival Director said ‘The Sandicliffe Zone was such an incredible part of the Gloworm Festival last year and it was incredible to see children let loose on one of their new vehicles. We are really looking forward to working with them again this year.’
Sandicliffe will also be bringing along a few of their other festival favourites, to include the much loved Carpool Karaoke! So be sure to practice your favourite songs, ready to sing along at the Gloworm Festival.
A spokesperson from Sandicliffe said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring Gloworm Festival for another year running. Last year was a great success, with our Paint-A-Car zone being a smash hit amongst the whole family.
This year, we’re bringing even bigger activities with even better cars and we’re also providing Wi-Fi for everyone so there’s no need to shake your mobile phones in the air hoping for internet!
Be sure to visit us at our activity zones over the 2-day festival – we promise not to disappoint.”
The Gloworm Festival takes places at Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire on August 15th & 16th 2020.
