Smoby Play Zone returns to Gloworm Festival

The Gloworm Festival is thrilled to announce that Smoby will be bringing back its hugely popular Smoby Play Zone this year. As a a brand that can accompany children through each step of their development, offering innovative indoor and outdoor toys, with fun, educational values and emotion, Smoby’s role-play stations, slides and playhouses all help children to discover the world and develop their senses through play.

Richard Walpole, festival director at Gloworm Events, said: “Outdoor creative play has always been a huge focus for us here at Gloworm, and we are really excited to be welcoming Smoby back to the festival. The Smoby Play Zone was hugely popular at Gloworm 2022, so it’s great to be able expand the space this year, and bring AquaPlay to life in its own area.”

“This summer, we strongly encourage our festival goers to pop along to the Smoby Play Zone to enjoy the brilliantly fun playhouses on offer, zoom down some of the awesome slides and have a splash about with the fabulous AquaPlay sets,” commented Sophie Bryan, brand manager at Simba Smoby UK. “We are really excited to be back at Gloworm this year, with a bigger and better Smoby Play Zone.”

The company will be bringing more Smoby and AquaPlay products for families to play with, and there will also be an opportunity for festival goers to order products on the day, for delivery direct to their door.

Sophie added: “We can’t wait to see everyone playing with our selection of toys and playsets on the day.”

Gloworm Festival is an event for families with children aged 0-14, with plenty to keep older teenagers entertained, too. Taking place at Thoresby Park in Nottinghamshire, Gloworm Festival invites grown-ups and their kids to come and play while enjoying a weekend of family fun and entertainment, in a warm and creative environment.

This year’s event takes place between the 11th-13th August, with a line-up including performances from Mister Maker featuring Rebecca Keatley and Basil Brush, Andy and the Odd Socks, Livin’ Joy, Ultimate Coldplay Tribute, Stavros Flatley, Mercury Queen Tribute, The Lancashire Hotpots and more. Not only will there be live shows across two stages, but families will also be able to meet and greet some of their favourite characters, like Paw Patrol’s Chase and Skye, Bing and Flop, Hey Duggee and Bluey.
